The Big Learner Relay is an annual event involving 100's of Driving Instructors and interested people raising money for BBC Children in Need.

In 2014 driving instructors travelled over 2500 miles from lesson to lesson and raised over £65,000 and in 2015 they went even bigger, travelling nearly 3000 miles and raised a whopping £99,850 for Children in Need. This makes the BLR the biggest group fundraiser since Children in Need began. They have continued to fund raise through the relay each year and even having to cancel all of our plans in 2020 due to the pandemic and then create a very different type of relay in 2022!
